If you are in fulltime education, you should contact your university disability officer. Disability officers are able to provide practical help to students with dyslexia.

If you are in employment and require some support in order to do your job, you could talk to your employer about making ‘reasonable adjustments' to the way you work. To find out more about the kinds of support which an employer could offer, see

If you are seeking work you should consult the Disability Employment Adviser (DEA) at your local Job Centre Plus. Via them you could get onto Access to Work programme. This programme is funded by the government and is designed to help people with disabilities find or retain work.

Access to Work do not run the programmes; they only provide kit and in-service support. Jobcentre Plus offer a number of programmes and services to help jobseekers with disabilities. Contact the Disability Employment Adviser at your local Jobcentre Plus branch.
