Racecar, level, Hannah and kayak are Palindromes (words that read the same backwards as they do forwards). (You knew this didn’t you, but are there any more?)                                                                                                

There are only four words in the English language which end in ‘dous’: tremendous, horrendous, stupendous and hazardous.

There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in alphabetical order: abstemious and facetious.
