Beginner Readers

Early phonic reading books can be rather stilted and difficult to read. When you are working with a child who find reading difficult we think it is sometimes a mistake to introduce reading books too early.

There are lots of really good reading games on the market. Students can play games that involve reading single words, and build up their decoding skills while having fun.

When they are ready the transition to books is easier and less stressful.

Make your own games such as word "Bingo" or even better help the child make their own games.
